Managing Inbound Materials
As a supply chain coordinator, you will be crucial in managing the company's inbound materials required for their production facility just outside of Ely.
Working in a small team, being able to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks at one time will be key.
Owning Your Supply Chain
* The planning of inbound goods and maintaining of sufficient stock levels will be the main task within this position.
* Overseeing logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of fresh produce.
* Growing Relationships with suppliers will be key to securing the best materials at the right time.
What Makes You A Great Fit?
* Proven experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on planning and stock management.
* Experience working within the Food, Fresh Produce or FMG industry and understanding the fast paced nature of the roles.
* Ability to negotiate the best deals with suppliers by challenging prices.
* Ease of making contacts with vendors and establishing good relationships
* Strong communication skills, both verbally and written

The role provides crucial support to the transport department in the daily planning and execution of 44 million worth of outbound and inbound logistics. This encompasses delivery scheduling, detailed shipment planning (carton-level), outbound delivery notes processing, and the management of inbound returns and failed deliveries.
This position operates within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, necessitating the ability to prioritise and execute multiple tasks logically and professionally.
Responsibilities encompass:
Coordinating with customers, suppliers, and drivers to optimise route planning and delivery scheduling, prioritising workload and managing driver briefings and debriefings, resolving transport-related challenges and processing customer returns to maintain operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
Requires strong organisational skills for efficient schedule, route, and load planning. Demonstrates flexibility and decisive, professional judgment. Possesses excellent communication skills to effectively interact with multiple stakeholders. Proactively minimises delivery delays and missed time slots. Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make informed decisions. Shows a willingness to take ownership and accountability.
Key Skills & Experience
We are seeking a candidate with proven traffic management experience in similar environments, logical thinking with independent problem-solving abilities, excellent prioritisation abilities, strong geographical knowledge, computer literate including Excel and Outlook with a confident 'can-do' approach.
Hours of Work
We are seeking someone who can work between 30-40hours pw, between the hours of 15:00-00:00 (3pm-12am). Working hours and start times to be agreed and then set.

Role Overview
The Logistics Assistant supports the smooth running of warehouse operations by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records in line with HMRC requirements. This role is vital to ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in all logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping and delivery documents (labels, manifests, invoices).
- Receive and verify deliveries; supervise loading/unloading.

- Archive import/export documents and ensure Customs compliance.
- Support stock counts and prepare performance reports.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

- Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferred.

- Track record of leading successful CI initiatives (Lean, 5S, visual management, etc.).
