This role is critical in managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficient flow of goods from sourcing to delivery. You will be responsible for overseeing all logistics activities, including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and demand planning. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing carrier relationships, negotiating freight rates, optimizing warehouse layouts and processes, and implementing inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. You will also lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and relevant technologies. Experience with supply chain planning software and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is essential.
