The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination and control of Logistics Services to and from our Huntingdon site, providing support to all departments requiring the shipment of Biological, Pharmaceutical and other materials.

**Duties include:**
+ Organising and coordinating all biological substances shipments to or from Huntingdon, including radioactive biological substances and occasionally dangerous goods shipments
+ Preparing and submitting applications for all import and export licenses for Non-EU countries with UK Animal Health Authorities and where necessary US FDA and F&W Import Authorities
+ Close liaison with operational members of courier services
+ Ensuring appropriate procedures are followed so quality, scientific integrity and regulatory compliance is maintained
+ Control, storage, inventory and archiving of slides
+ Complying with UK and international GLP, GMP and GCP regulations
+ Complying with all safety directives, department safety procedures and ensure safe working practices in accordance with COSHH
+ Reporting any difficulty, uncertainty or unexpected finding to the Senior Logistics Coordinator
