Job Description:

• You will be driving Class 1 vehicles between Monday and Saturday with a variety of start times to suit the clients requirements 
li>This position requires you to drive refrigerated vehicles
• CPC driving hours must be followed and all paperwork is to be completed to ensure your continued placement
• Start times vary, being flexible to start between early morning and mid afternoon is advantageous 
li>All drivers must have a positive attitude to customer service as you will be visiting a number of customers and other depots linked to the client

Requirements:

• HGV C+E / CPC / Digi-Card all required
• Minimum of 1 year driving C+E is essential
• Time and record keeping will be a huge aspect of the role

• Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and efficiently for long-haul routes.
• Deliver goods to various destinations across the UK, adhering to strict schedules.
• Conduct pre-departure vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Ensure all loads are correctly loaded, secured, and documented.
• Comply with all driving hours regulations and tachograph recording requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and submit them promptly.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Report any vehicle defects or accidents immediately to the transport manager.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle interior and exterior.

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 1 HGV driver.
• Proven clean driving record.
• Excellent understanding of UK road network and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks if required.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and overnight stays.

• Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and efficiently on long-haul routes.

• Valid UK Class 1 HGV (Category C+E) driving license.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
