We are looking for Machine Maintenance Engineers at our client's West Yorkshire site in Leeds and Knottingley.
Salary is 34,114 per annum.
This will be working Monday to Friday (7am to 3pm)
however, there is an element of flexibility required for this role and as such these may change from time to time to suit factory needs.
Previous knowledge of working within a glass manufacture plant and/or 24-hour process environment would be an advantage, however not essential.
Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of machines within our client's Cold End Production Department, ensuring equipment achieves maximum efficiency and manufacturing performance.
Working in a small team you will also be responsible for the cleaning, checking, repairing and refurbishing of spares to ensure availability and minimise downtime.
Suitable candidates should be fully apprentice-trained and possess a good level of Maths and English, together with excellent problem-solving skills, and may be required to undertake an aptitude test to demonstrate this. They should also be enthusiastic and committed, with a pro-active and flexible approach to work. The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise your workload is also essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
