Location : Site is located near Fleet, Hampshire. Work starts and ends at the yard in Surrey
Salary Range: up to 30,000 DOE
Van to travel to and from home is provided
Holidays: 28 days inc bank holidays
Skills and Experience:
- Full clean UK driving license
- Pa1 Pa6 spraying license preferred but if not training will be provided
- ROSPA certification - training will be provided
- Health and Safety awareness training will be provided
- Proven experience of grounds maintenance in a public setting (preferably) using a variety of manual and power tools
- Ability to operate a ride on mower
- Confident to lead the contract on site for Landform, showing courtesy and professionalism towards on site client, residents and the public
- Ability to plan and undertake tasks in line with contractual schedule of works, seasonality and client requirements

They are looking to bring an innovative product to an expanding market and are seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Lead to help strengthen their team. This appointment will be pivotal in developing and executing the maintenance strategy, and so a 'can-do' attitude, the ability to think outside the box, and not being afraid to roll your sleeves up are all key characteristics that will play an important part in this role.
Description
- To develop and implement a proactive maintenance strategy (including both PPMs and reactive maintenance)
- Setting up the systems, schedules and documentation from scratch for a new facility
- Ensure all machinery is maintained to the highest possible standards
- Lead on fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment/machinery
- Manage the spare parts inventory and stock-holding in line with business requirements
- Collaborate with the production team to improve equipment reliability and performance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Profile
The successful Engineering & Maintenance Lead will have:
- A background in multi-skilled maintenance with a good understanding of electrical (17th/18th edition or equivalent) and mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems
- Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment
- Prior experience with PPMs and implementing these for new processes
- A solution-orientated mindset and the ability to work autonomously
- Hands-on approach whilst also being able to direct the wider maintenance strategy
- Any experience with setting up a maintenance function in a new site build, factory relocation or process improvement would be advantageous

To take responsibility for routine and cyclical highway maintenance programmes centred around one of three key themes: surfacing, pavements and lining; drainage and winter maintenance; or green infrastructure. By fulfilling this role, the Cyclical Highway Maintenance Lead is accountable for ensuring the highway network is managed and maintained in a safe manner and ensuring that the lifespan of highway assets is maximised.
The role includes management responsibilities for a team of officers responsible for planning these varied programmes of works at the appropriate frequencies across circa 3,000km of highway. The Cyclical Highway Maintenance Lead will support, train and advise this team and act as a point of escalation for complex cases.
The Cyclical Highway Maintenance Lead must ensure a varied programme of works is delivered in line with Council priorities and policy.
