The M25 is one of our Flagship projects in the UK! It is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network with it seeing over 200,000 vehicles per day and it’s a critical infrastructure asset for personal and goods vehicles into and around our capital. The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, so it requires high levels of performance, constant improvement and repairs to keep it operating smoothly.
We’ve formed a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract and we are looking for a
We are seeking a dedicated RMMS / System Administrator to manage and maintain the Brightly Confirm asset management system for the M25 Strategic Road Network. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of the system, supporting routine maintenance management, asset tracking, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with IT, highways maintenance teams, and external stakeholders to optimise system performance, troubleshoot issues.
Responsibilities:
System Administration : Manage the Confirm (Routine Maintenance Management) system, ensuring it operates efficiently and is regularly updated.· User Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to system users, including maintenance teams, planners, data analysts and management.
Data Management: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance within the system, maintaining records of assets, inspections, work orders and maintenance works delivered.
Configuration & Customization : Tailor system settings, workflows, and reporting structures to align with operational requirements. ·
Process Improvement : Identify and implement system and data enhancements to maximize efficiency in maintenance planning and asset management.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and Highways England/National Highways to ensure system alignment with strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
Essential
· Proven experience as a System Administrator, Analyst or Engineer or similar role managing Brightly Confirm or equivalent Asset Management or Routine Maintenance Management systems.
· Strong understanding of highways maintenance operations and asset management principles.
· Proficiency in SQL, database management, and system configurations.
· Experience with GIS mapping tools, APIs, and system integrations.
· Ability to analyse data, generate reports, and optimize system workflows
. · Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
· Understanding of IT security, data protection, and compliance frameworks.
Desirable Skills
· Experience working in highways, transportation, or infrastructure environments.
· Familiarity with cloud-based systems and mobile workforce solutions.
· IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, SQL) are an advantage.

**Key responsibilities include:**
+ To undertake annual Performance Management, setting and agreeing targets linked to the IAM team Improvement Plan priorities with the Head of Asset Management.
+ As required, to have responsibility for line managing team members as designated by the Head of Asset Management
+ Assist the Head of Asset Management in the ongoing and annual review ensuring standards are maintained and the development of SMART priority targets in areas of responsibility and across all areas of the IAM team.
+ Work with outside clients and other Amentum teams to develop opportunities both with existing projects and new opportunities.
+ Provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise
