Provide support to the Maintenance Manager and Heavy Maintenance Manager in delivering an efficient and optimised service to the business. Maintaining records of Network Rail fleet assets in-line with company policies and procedures. Also ensuring weekly management and contractual reports are distributed as required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
+ Update FAMS to close scheduled maintenance work-orders, including the electronic attachment of completed and certified maintenance documentations.
+ Creating unscheduled maintenance Work-Orders in FAMS and subsequently closing out with electronic attachment of completed and certified maintenance documentations.
+ Creating work arising Work-Orders in FAMS.
+ Manage the FAMS asset tracker document alongside the FAMS team.
+ Maintaining and update a register of unscheduled faults.
+ Monitoring of outstanding work orders.
+ Liaise with 3rd party contractors within the Maintenance department to arrange bookings and site visits.
+ Prepare requisitions, arrange purchase order numbers and expedite purchase orders, while updating end users on delivery dates.
+ Liaise with the internal planning department on machine arrival and departure dates.
+ Review and keep up to date the Q-Pulse asset management tracker for asset availability and calibration dates.
+ Develop and distribute pre & post maintenance packs in line with maintenance schedule.
+ Order repair parts through Harsco stores team and update work arising documents.
+ Manage the upkeep of the master maintenance tracking excel document.
+ Take meeting minutes and distribute to copy holders.
+ Distribute and manage the Derby maintenance team roster and holiday planner.

Job Description:
Due to Company growth, we are currently looking to recruit a Facilities Technician to join us on a permanent basis. The role is to help ensure our premises are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, clean, and secure environment for all users and to undertake general maintenance and cleaning.
Hours:
This is a part-time role and we are looking for someone to work up to 22 hours per week. We are happy to remain flexible on working days and working hours (we operate Monday – Friday as a business). Working days and hours can be discussed at interview stage.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out basic maintenance and repairs (e.g., changing lightbulbs, unblocking drains, painting, plumbing).
- Assembling and disassembling (e.g. furniture, racking).
- Ensure cleanliness of external areas (e.g., sweeping paths, clearing rubbish).
- Ensure pathways are safe during adverse weather (e.g., gritting in winter).
- Routine landscaping of the grounds.
- Conduct routine inspections of the building and grounds and report any repairs required.
- Support other areas of the business during busy periods.
- Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the management team.
Skills:
- Proven experience in a caretaker, facilities, or maintenance role.
