Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining factory equipment and production lines to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role is key to maximising uptime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring high standards of equipment availability.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery, including CNC equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
Work with electrical systems including 3-phase, AC/DC inverter drives, servo motors, relays, contactors, and control panels.
Read and interpret schematic drawings to support fault-finding and repair work.
Respond to breakdowns promptly, applying safe working practices at all times.
Support continuous improvement by identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes.
Use the CMMS system to record, track, and complete maintenance tasks.
Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager and production teams to meet operational targets.
Time-served Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias .
Recognised qualification in Maintenance Engineering (BTEC Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations desirable (not essential).
