Recruit4staff are representing a leading building services business in their search for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias to work in Cardiff
Job Details:
- Pay: Starting Salary of £40,000 per annum, which will rise to £2,000 after a successful probation period (Shift allowance of 500)
- Hours of Work: Working hours, 7am-7pm | 7pm-7am 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 12 hour shifts
- Duration: Permanent
- Benefits: 22 days holiday, Pension, Company phone, Training & development opportunities
Job Role: Undertake the maintenance and repair of electrical services, including fabric tasks of buildings as required under contract. Completing planned and reactive maintenance in commercial buildings. Completing the appropriate paperwork and reports. Working on singe phase and 3-phase systems, HVAC and plant room equipment. Completing service, maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdown. Supervising on-site sub-contractors.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in the facilities management sector covering PPM and reactive maintenance
- Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment including Emergency lighting, back-up power, HVAC plant, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable)
- C&G/NVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Commercial Gas experience
- Plumbing experience
