We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance and Facilities Technician  to work alongside the Engineering Manager ensuring the equipment, facilities and infrastructure operate at peak efficiency !
 
The is a strong focus on the warehouse automated systems ensuring the planned maintenance schedule of shuttles 
system, pick station and tower, spiral conveyors is carried out and accurately recorded on the CMMS system. Along side this you will also be looking after the site facilities carrying out any repairs and compliance safety checks including fire alarm test, legionella tests to name a few. 
 
This is a new site that launched just 2 years ago and highly automated so you will need to have a strong understanding of storage retrieval systems, automation hardware and software experience, SCADA and CCMS systems. 
 
On occasion you will be required for site call outs out side of normal working hours and you will be required to work 4 Saturdays per year.
 
 Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance and Facilities Technician
  • Prioritise and diagnose breakdowns keeping downtime to a minimum, escalating to the engineering manager when needed or external help desks. 
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Standards at all times 
  • Day to Day maintenance of site MHE to a high standard
  • Training operatives and supervisors driving continuous improvement
  • Coordinating extremal contractors 
  • Maintain accurate records of the PPM and spares inventory 
  • Maintain core building system including HVAC, Sprinkler and Fire protection 
Experience and Qualifications required for an Maintenance and Facilities Technician
