Graduate Training Programme: First 6 months
- Develop a core knowledge of how the business operates - warehouse, logistics, supply chain, administration, IT software, and marketing.
- Get hands-on with the vast product range and learn about different manufacturers and the electrical distribution industry.
- Start building relationships, making deals and advising customers face-to-face over the trade counter e.g. electricians, contractors and tradespeople.
- Begin your formal sales training course and network with other Graduate Trainees.
- Complete workbook assessments to underpin your learning and development and receive financial incentives for each one passed to a required standard.
6-12 months
- Move to internal sales account management, engaging with business customers over the phone e.g. construction companies, local government authorities, housing developers and hotels.
- Learn business development strategies and how to target and win new trading accounts.
12 months and beyond
- Progress to a diverse business-to-business field sales management position, with increased earning potential and bigger bonuses.
- Travel locally in your company car, meeting clients, discussing projects, and arranging social activities.
- Work towards running your own business in the group, learning about staff management, purchasing, profit and loss, etc. The business operates in a decentralised manner, allowing local managers to make informed decisions that drive the business forward.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Management Business Partner to join a professional Project Management team supporting a high-profile aviation programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving best practice project management governance, methods, and tools across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong project management expertise and ensure appropriate governance and practices are applied across all streams.
- Collaborate with project leaders and teams on a daily basis, coaching and raising awareness of best practice project management.
- Shape and adapt project management methods and tools to suit project needs, in line with recognised standards.
- Support efficient communication and stakeholder management, ensuring alignment with interfacing projects and operations.
- Promote Agile ways of working and act as Scrum Master for project activities where required.
- Establish end-to-end project plans, control changes versus baseline, and identify critical paths and Earned Value Management milestones.
- Track project performance throughout the lifecycle, analyse information to anticipate deviations, and propose corrective actions.
- Drive risk and opportunity management processes, maintain the risk and opportunity register, and provide regular status updates.
