Role
The Product Director will be responsible for the development and management of products/ services within the MDES Issuer Enablement and Customer Onboarding domains. This includes B2B customer onboarding, automation and self-service applications.

+ Articulate a long-term product vision, strategy, and goals with clearly defined business metrics and outcomes for the external data scanning platform
+ Communicate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders while owning and maintaining the Third-Party Data Scanning product roadmap
+ Partner technologies, TLM, and other cross-functional teams to define how Third-Party Data Scanning supports Enterprise Data Management / Data Lifecycle Management efforts
+ Be responsible for the progress, reporting, and completion of certain deliverables related to the Enterprise Data Management program
+ Liaise with and own relationships with teams responsible for third-party data risk program deliverables
+ Maintain strategic insight into the competitive landscape and emerging data privacy, GDPR, risk considerations
+ Through orchestration with business, GCO, operational risk and compliance, and technology teams, aid in solutions for third parties with respect to data leaving American Express
+ Execute product roadmap as a Product Owner and translate business/customer needs to create features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, taking E2E ownership for our external data sharing products & capabilities through the entire product cycle from conception, envisioning and testing through to delivery.
+ Drive collaborative spirit when working with technology, business stakeholders, and key partners across the enterprise through frequent and open communication.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 5 years of experience of product ownership for enterprise products
+ Ability to distill complex and conflicting requirements into a logical, prioritized roadmap
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
+ Understanding of compliance/regulations is essential.
+ Attention to detail, with demonstrated proficiency in creating transparent, well-communicated, and scalable products and processes, while working with process owners to lead the implementation of those processes across a matrixed environment.
+ Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts & processes to a wide variety of audiences.
+ Highly organized and self-motivated individual who can combine problem-resolution, insights-driven prioritization, and ability to influence to achieve critical business goals.
+ Bachelor's degree or higher
