  • Experienced Project Manager from a civil engineering and/or renewables background

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a variety of project works across customer sites in Scotland, predominantly supporting a housing group. Job Description - Project Manager (Water/Infrastructure - Telecoms)

Location: Livingston, Scotland
Contract: 6 months+ (Outside IR35)
Sector: Water / Utilities / Telecoms Infrastructure



The Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver critical civils and infrastructure works within the water and telecoms sector. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle - from planning through to delivery - ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant outcomes.



Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of civils and utilities projects within water/telecoms infrastructure.

  • Manage project planning, resourcing, risk, and reporting.

  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure milestones are met.

  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and performance against KPIs.

  • Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental, and quality standards.

  • Provide clear leadership and communication across multi-disciplinary teams.



Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in utilities, water, telecoms, or civil engineering .

  • Strong background in project delivery and stakeholder management.

  • Commercially aware with contract management knowledge (NEC experience advantageous).

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

  • PM qualifications (APM, PRINCE2) desirable but not essential
