This role is integral to the effective Management and Leadership of the Manufacturing environment, through forecasting the requirements of production to achieving production targets and meeting customer service levels while maintaining and promoting high EHS standards. **Your key duties and responsibilities:**
+ Communicates and sets the vision and strategy for the manufacturing team.
+ Promotes safety and quality through EHS awareness, while leading the team to meet manufacturing standards.
+ Incident controller in the event of a site emergency.
+ Responsible through the Senior Operators for the safe issue and hand back of permits to work.
+ Leads and documents first line Root Cause Analysis into EHS issues on shift.
+ Maintains risk assessments for manufacturing operations.
+ Role models the right GMP behaviours and ensures quality standards are always followed by the manufacturing teams.
+ Leads out and documents event management for non-conformances.
+ Carrys out Root Cause Analysis for Trackwise events.
+ Carrys out all aspects of personnel management for manufacturing and warehouse team - performance, disciplinary action, absence, sickness, holidays, conflict, recruitment, induction, overtime and training.
+ Drives the Company's Mission, Values and Priorities, as well as the performance coaching process, to ensure a consistent high-performance culture.
+ Consistently develops people through coaching, counseling and delegation.
+ Engages the team to work together effectively and ensures the team follow instructions for both EHS & Quality.
+ Ensures a Continuous Improvement environment and challenges the norm to keep driving improvements.
+ Empowers team members to generate ideas and solutions and drives the improvement activity.
+ Manages departmental budgets and product standards including accountability for performance, reporting and meeting customer service levels.
+ Responsible for ensuring all elements of resource planning for manufacturing units to hit production plans.
+ Liaises closely with planning, maintenance and quality teams.
+ Ensures manufacturing processes are always operated to standard operating procedures.
+ Investigates, documents and communicates any exception (breakdowns, damage, scrap runs etc).
+ DSEAR and ATEX regulations compliance.
**Skills & Experience:**
+ Internal Lead Auditor Certification and experience in executing audits.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an open, collaborative, interactive leadership style.
+ Ability to build and nurture strong and positive relationships with other leaders to partner effectively.
+ Balanced technical understanding of products and processes combined with business and compliance acumen.
**Qualifications/Education:**
+ Proven success in a complex manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in leading manufacturing in a regulated industry.
+ Expert knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.
+ Strong leadership qualities and motivational skills.
+ Relevant degree or higher education with appropriate experience.
**Travel Requirements:**
