A leading company in the Medical Technology industry, based in the Wiltshire area, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician. As the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical support to all areas of manufacturing, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to GMP standards in clean rooms and controlled areas.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Undertake scheduled preventive maintenance activities using SAP.
2. Monitor machine performance and respond quickly to breakdowns.
3. Maintain production machinery and ensure sufficient spares are available.
4. Support continuous improvement activities and advise on technical issues.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Tooling/Plastics processing, either through an apprenticeship or HND/Degree.
2. Proven industry experience within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with high-speed automated assembly processes and problem-solving on manufacturing machines.

**This is a night shift, onsite role (10pm - 10am, 3 days on 3 days off) and offers a competitive salary plus a 46% shift premium.**
**Main responsibilities will include:**
+ Support to achieve production output standards
+ Maintain Production Machinery
+ Plan Preventative maintenance programs
+ Maintain machine spare parts
+ Advise on technical issues
+ Support Continuous Improvement activities
+ Respond quickly to machine breakdowns
+ Monitor machine performance
+ Support training activities
+ Pre-plan the maintenance activities
+ Ensure sufficient spares are available
+ Analyse and monitor breakdown frequencies
+ Participate in training programs
+ Participate in Risk Assessment programs
**About you:**
+ Qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Tooling/Plastics processing, either through an apprenticeship or HND/Degree.
+ Experience within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment.
+ Understanding of high-speed automated assembly processes.
+ Experience of problem solving and fault finding on manufacturing machines.
+ Ability to work unsupervised.
+ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation.
+ Computer literate - Microsoft Office.
