The Role
Reporting to and deputising for the Managing Director and leading a dedicated team, covering all design, engineering, programme management, materials and manufacturing disciplines, your key task will be the development and implementation of the company's manufacturing operations strategy, that continues to improve all processes and practices, creates leaner, customer focused manufacturing operations, whilst leading a highly skilled workforce in the pursuit of greater profitability and performance.
The Person
The role calls for an experienced and enlightened manufacturing operations professional, a hands on, customer focused and charismatic man-manager, who is well used to the demands of a fast moving, price and quality conscious customer base. A graduate calibre technical manufacturing professional, you will be able to demonstrate considerable success at identifying and introducing organisational and cultural change programmes within a technically driven business, that streamlined processes, engaged the workforce and led to industry leading productivity, quality and yield.
Experience of electrical design, assembly and test would be advantageous but is not essential.
