We are seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of manufacturing operations within a high complexity discrete manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive and/or aerospace sectors. This role is crucial for driving operational excellence and Lean Sigma improvements across our manufacturing processes.
Key Experience:
- Extensive experience in manufacturing operations within high complexity discrete manufacturing environments, with a strong preference for automotive and/or aerospace sectors.
- Proven track record in the delivery of Lean Sigma improvements, showcasing the ability to implement process enhancements that drive efficiency and quality.
- Strong appreciation of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) operational use, along with a clear understanding of how these systems interact to support manufacturing processes.
- Deep understanding of the operational use and deployment of manufacturing execution systems, with practical experience in the implementation and optimisation of these systems.
The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of MES solutions and ideally have led or been an integral part of a team that has successfully deployed such systems, with specific experience in Siemens and/or SAP MES being highly desirable.
