  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and flow charts.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with R&D, quality control, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment to enhance production capabilities.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, value stream mapping, and process capability analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on process improvements and best practices.
  • Monitor production performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to capital expenditure requests for new equipment and facility upgrades.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support product development and launch activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing process engineering.
  • Proven track record in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma projects.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, production planning, and quality management systems.
  • Experience with CAD software and process simulation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience in project management and leading improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of automation and robotics in manufacturing is desirable.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
