- Lead and mentor a team of Quality Control technicians and inspectors, providing guidance and performance management.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems (QMS).
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma methodologies, and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and data analysis tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

About the Role
Are you an Aircraft Process (manufacturing) Engineer looking for a new Contract role? Primarily focusing on work to industrialise minor and major modifications for Single Aisle aircraft; The applicant should be competent in the modification of aircraft, supporting both mechanical and electrical systems. You will work as part of a multifunctional team to ensure industrialisation into production. The role is based in Broughton, North Wales, close to the English border, west of the City of Chester, and is Inside IR35.
Responsibilities
- Translate design intent into the compilation and control of technical instructions and Manufacturing Engineering data for use in aircraft detail manufacture, assembly, test and certification, utilising current business tools.
- Implement best practice methods, tools and processes from first principles to meet current and future business requirements.
- Deliver detailed work preparation definition (routings, BOM’s, SOI’s, STV calculations) for aircraft production.
- Ensure that all work and documentation meet departmental procedural and regulatory requirements.
- Project manage detail manufacture, assembly, test and certification methods, tools and process improvements, including implementation strategies in accordance with business requirements.
- Evaluate capacity of the manufacturing process, enhance as required and recommend changes to the product design standard.
- Provide electrical/mechanical shop floor support to operations, supply chain and Final Assembly Lines.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Lean principles.
- Application and knowledge of the current business management tools, ideally SAP.

About the Role: As the Manufacturing Engineering Serial Process Engineer, you’ll be the vital link between the Design Office, Manufacturing Engineering Team, and Production. You’ll manage and maintain work instructions derived from technical drawings, using SAP, and play a key role in optimising production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and write assembly work processes, create specifications for assembly tools, and implement production modifications.
- Ensure consistency between manufacturing engineering dossiers and design dossiers.
- Launch parts and assembly items, provide on-site support, and prepare additional work instructions for disruptions or breakdowns.
- Analyse anomaly statuses, optimise procedures, and write concessions.
- Participate in defining products, production and verification methods, and contribute to industrial work-sharing.
