Job Purpose
As The Primary Lead Teacher you will work alongside the Assistant Headteacher to provide leadership and management of the school’s Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum, delivering high-quality teaching and the effective use of resources.
You will work to improve learning standards and achievement for all pupils, while also carrying out their duties as a classroom teacher.
As a KS2 leader, you will contribute to whole-school self-evaluation and school improvement planning and be responsible for mentoring and developing staff within the key stage.
Duties and responsibilities
In collaboration with the Assistant Headteacher:
- Set high expectations for all pupils in KS2 and inspire and motivate staff and pupils to reach and maintain high standards
- Lead staff by setting standards through personal classroom practice, demonstrating different strategies to deliver improved pupil performance in KS2 learning
- Provide guidance and support to staff within the key stage, working in partnership with parents and the community, keeping them informed and involved in pupils’ learning
- Show an understanding of the school’s current systems for recording pupil progress within the key stage
- Oversee the use of schemes of work and their delivery, and measure impact on teaching and learning
- Work with other teachers to review the curriculum and make sure there is continuity and progress
- Take a leading role in inducting new key stage staff and making sure they uphold expected values and teaching standards
Experience and Qualifications:
- UK QTS or equivalent
- Evidence of professional development relevant to this role
- Teaching within the primary phase, including evidence of outstanding teaching directly linked to KS2 delivery

Our Restructuring & Insolvency Service team are looking for an experienced Senior Executive to join their established team in Manchester. You will work alongside a diverse and experienced group where your personal development is at the forefront of our culture. While the role is based in our Manchester office, you may also have the opportunity to work with our Insolvency Practitioners in other regions as we operate as a national practice across all areas of restructuring, by embracing a hybrid working model.
Job PurposeThe purpose of the role is to be a key member of a team responsible for a portfolio of corporate insolvency engagements with a particular focus on Administrations (“ADMs”) but also on occasion Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations ("CVLs"). You will be proactive in progressing those cases in conjunction with the case manager and officeholders.
Job RoleThe role will involve the following main activities and responsibilities (working within a team which comprises on each case, the appointed IP, case manager plus others on larger cases):
- Being the principal contact within delegated areas of work on assigned cases and dealing with day-to-day case related matters.
- Carry out duties efficiently, thoroughly and in accordance with relevant legal and statutory obligations and the firm's procedures.
- Contribute to case progression and managing own work stream, agreeing priorities with manager, and keeping the team informed of developments.
- Preparing statutory notices, assisting with report writing and meeting deadlines.
- Assisting with the preparation of fee estimates, proposals and decision procedures to seek appropriate creditor approval.
- Assisting in the preparation of additional reports to key stakeholders.

- Must have experience of using IPS and Microsoft Office programmes (or equivalent).

- Has a good working knowledge of insolvency legislation and an awareness of relevant current case law.
