The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, including significant experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is essential. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and a strong understanding of automation technologies are highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are required. The ability to effectively lead and motivate a technical team, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills, is crucial for success in this role. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a flexible approach to work that balances on-site engineering activities in our Norwich, Norfolk, UK facility with potential for remote planning and analysis.
