Job Description
How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four?
At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first.
That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay.
Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So, whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG.
Job Title: Part Time Ground Worker
Location: Orchards Manor School, Near King’s Lynn, Downham Market, PE34 3HT
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 24 hours per week | 3 days per week (TBC)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Start: October 2025
UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.
We’re excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Part Time Ground Worker to join our team at Orchards Manor School, a brand-new Options Autism school near Downham Market.
Our school supports children and young people with autism and complex needs, creating a safe, inspiring environment where every learner can flourish. As part of this journey, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to help us maintain a warm, welcoming, and well-kept setting for all pupils and staff.
About the Role
As our Ground Worker, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our school grounds and facilities remain safe, clean, and beautifully maintained. You’ll take responsibility for the upkeep of our outdoor spaces — from mowing and pruning to carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs — helping to create an environment our pupils can be proud of.
You’ll also support with site safety checks, health and safety routines, and the secure storage and maintenance of tools and equipment. This hands-on, varied role will suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes initiative, and can respond flexibly to the needs of a busy school day.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in grounds maintenance, caretaking, or a similar practical role
- Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations
- Confidence using hand tools and machinery (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work
- A friendly, respectful manner when interacting with staff and pupils

Job title: SEN Teacher
Location: Orchards Manor School, Near Kings Lynn, Downham Market, PE34 3HT
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum ( not pro rata )
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
Start: October 2025
UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join our growing team at Orchards Manor School, a brand-new New Options Autism School located near Downham Market.
Our school is dedicated to supporting children and young people with autism and complex needs, providing an environment where they can thrive both academically and personally. If you’re motivated to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable learners, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you’ll do far more than deliver lessons — you’ll help shape the learning journey of every student, empowering them to discover their strengths and build confidence in a nurturing, inclusive environment. Each day will bring opportunities to inspire curiosity, spark joy in learning, and celebrate the small but meaningful steps of progress that make the biggest difference.
You’ll design creative, personalised lessons that meet each learner where they are — supported by a dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants, Tutors, and Therapists. This is a hands-on, emotionally intelligent teaching role where collaboration and compassion go hand-in-hand. You’ll work closely with the Headteacher and wider team to ensure every pupil feels safe, valued, and inspired to achieve — in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons tailored to each student’s needs
- Track and celebrate progress through meaningful assessment and feedback
- Contribute to IEPs, IBPs, and learning plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that fosters independence and self-belief
- Guide and support Learning Support Assistants to ensure consistent, high-quality teaching
- Promote wellbeing, inclusion, and safety at all times
Requirements
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching students with autism and/or special educational needs
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to differentiate lessons and engage students with varying levels of ability and need
- Passionate about inclusive education and student-centred learning
If you’re an experienced SEN Teacher with a commitment to making a difference in the lives of students with autism, we would love to hear from you!
