We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operatorwith a Counterbalance FLT Licence to join our clients dynamic team in a technical production and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of production and manufacturing processes, ensuring that batches are mixed efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality. THE ROLE:

• Operate and monitor production mixing machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to production schedules.
• Accurately measure and mix raw materials according to specified measurements and components, utilising basic maths skills for precise calculations.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• FLT driving throughout the day to maneuver pallets of raw materials and finished goods around the shop floor
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality control.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and mixing of raw materials
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure while adhering to deadlines.
• Must have an FLT Counterbalance licence
• Experience in a production or manufacturing setting, working with raw materials.
• Be technically minded and have the ability to understand the process for the manufacture of their product during training

THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• 6-2/2-10 rotating
• 06:00 - 14:00 - 12.50 per hour
• 14:00 - 22:00 - 15.00 per hour

• Investigate/source modern and innovative materials and equipment

Requirements:

• Qualified in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree)

• Min 7+ years of experience in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment

• Hands-on approach and a deep understanding of production processes and industrial equipment

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing

• Experience of Jig & Fixture design and DFMEA process

• Strong communicator and team player, capable of leading cross-functional projects

• UK Driving License and valid passport for occasional travel between UK & U/S
