Location: Southampton- Hybrid working
Hours of work: Shifts are 4 days on/4 days off, covering Monday to Sunday. The shift patterns are 7AM until 7PM/9AM until 9PM. This is full-time hours.

Your key duties would include the following:
- To troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and escalations - 2nd level support

- Acting as a first point of contact for customer calls

Our Client has a requirement for an Internal Sales Engineer with experience in Electrical control and automation to provide sales and technical support to the external customer base, whilst developing and maintaining customer relationships and promoting products and services to maximise sales opportunities. You will liaise with Field Sales Engineers and other staff to achieve the branch objectives and sales performance and as is normal in a small team environment engage in other duties. In order to perform this role successfully you will need technical electrical knowledge, there is flexibility on the qualification if you can illustrate your knowledge, product applications knowledge and commercial awareness. The ideal candidate may already be in a similar role as an internal sales engineer, technical support engineer, an electrical engineer looking to move into a commercial environment with the ability to illustrate good customer and administrative skills, or a graduate engineer with customer experience in a sales environment looking to develop their career in technical sales.
