Market Research Manager – Boutique Research Agency

Fantastic opportunity for a confident, commercially minded Research Manager to join a strategic boutique agency that’s known for delivering smart, story-led insight and high-impact thinking.
This team blends deep sector expertise with thoughtful analysis to give clients a true understanding of their markets and audiences, they don't use templated approaches here. You’ll be leading a variety of full-service projects from end-to-end, applying your skills across proposal writing, research design, client relationship management, analysis, insight generation, reporting and presenting.
We’re looking for someone who’s as comfortable building strong client relationships as they are shaping smart, commercially relevant insight. You’ll enjoy thinking creatively about how to grow accounts and your ideas around product development will be welcomed too.
Line management experience would be a real plus, as you’ll be helping to support and develop junior team members. This is a collaborative and supportive environment, where your voice and contribution will be valued from day one.
With hybrid working (2 days a week in their Home Counties office), great benefits, a bonus scheme and real scope for progression, this role would suit someone with solid research agency experience who’s ready to take the next step in their career.

Working with the wider Project Management team, the Translation Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the full lifecycle of market research translation and localization projects to completion whilst ensuring IQVIA's standards are met.
**Project Management:**
+ Manage multiple market research translation and localization projects at any one time from receipt to completion across qualitative and quantitative methodologies
+ Work on complex quantitative studies including tracker/wave projects
+ Liaise with the client to assess and agree project parameters and requirements
+ Manage market research client accounts to ensure high client satisfaction
+ Assess project scope to select appropriate vendors and negotiate deadlines effectively
+ Monitor and manage the status of assigned projects to effectively anticipate and prevent issues
+ Accurately complete project finances including quoting and budgeting
+ Prepare and maintain project documentation and information
+ Understand and adhere to the Quality Management System
+ Comply with relevant and applicable IQVIA procedures and SOPs
+ Assist in the maintenance of linguistic assets including glossaries and style guides
+ Ensure that high quality is maintained for all projects through QA checks
**Requirements:**
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Market Research Project Management in the Language Services industry,
+ Specialist in Market Research Translation Services with knowledge of both Qual and Quant services. Knowledge of tracker project best practice is desirable
+ Solid client management skills with the ability to manage client expectations
+ Bachelor's degree, ideally in a linguistic, business or scientific field
+ Fluency in English is essential, an additional language would be advantageous
+ Excellent written/verbal communication skills
+ Excellent attention to detail to ensure that high quality standards are maintained
+ Ability to meet strict deadlines and to manage competing priori ties and changing demands
+ Excellent client management, problem solving and analytical skills
+ Ability to follow instructions and work independently whilst using own initiative
+ Demonstration of advanced IT skills
+ Experience working with TMS and be an strong CAT tools user for the purpose of Market Research project. Experience working with XTRF and/or memoQ or other similar systems would be highly advantageous
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and clients

What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Food Science, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Extensive experience (around 7+ years) in consumer and market research (or 4+ years with a Master’s degree) within market research or CPG industries.
Expertise in research methodologies, experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to translate insights into business strategies.
Experience with Proficiency in Design Thinking and consumer-centric innovation approaches.
Strong leadership, facilitation, influencing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Passion for fostering an inclusive and diverse culture within global R&D teams.
Proven track record of leveraging consumer insights to drive strategic decisions across brand positioning, portfolio architecture, and long-term innovation pipelines, not limited to technical product enhancements.

Are you a current or recent life science graduate? Have you achieved a 1st or a high 2:1 in your degree? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to apply your background and gain experience working on the commercial side of the pharmaceutical industry?
This is a desirable opportunity for a high calibre graduate to join an esteemed and rapidly growing company which specialises in supporting the world’s top pharmaceutical organisations. Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit two analyst & business Modellers to join its friendly and hardworking team.
Responsibilities will include developing a deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical arena in order to provide high quality modelling, analysis and consultancy services in forecasting, pricing and market access to clients. The work includes running market research projects to inform how pharmaceuticals will be received by the market. You will present and report your models and findings, ensuring your recommendations are clear and applicable. As you progress in the role, you will be expected to take on more responsibility and develop your knowledge and consultative skills, with the aim of becoming a Senior Consultant.
To be considered for the role, you will have achieved a first or high 2:1 degree from a top-twenty university in a life science subject alongside outstanding A level grades, including A or A* in maths and science. The ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and topics is imperative. An understanding of statistical concepts and spreadsheet modelling is required, and you should be highly numerate and computer literate - especially in Excel. Some travel in the UK and overseas will be part of the role, so you should have flexibility to accommodate. The role will be based full time at the company’s offices near High Wycombe, you therefore will need to be able to drive and have your own transport.
You will be rewarded with a starting salary of £28,000 (increasing to £31,000 upon successful completion of a six‑month probationary period) as well as a generous bonus scheme that reflects your individual performance. Twenty-seven days’ holiday a year in addition to Bank Holidays and a matching company pension contribution of 5% of your salary.
