Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Market Researcher to support the development of strategic business decisions through high-quality research and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to analyze market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity
- Design and manage surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other data collection methods
- Compile and interpret data using statistical techniques and research software
- Present findings in clear, actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
- Support product development, marketing strategies, and business planning with evidence-based insights
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors affecting target markets
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, product development) to align research with business objectives
- Maintain databases and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of research data
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in a market research, data analysis, or business intelligence role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, Tableau, or Power BI)
- Experience designing and conducting market surveys and working with third-party research platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data in a clear and engaging manner
- Solid understanding of UK market dynamics and customer segmentation strategies
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage
- Experience in B2B or B2C research within sectors such as tech, healthcare, retail, or financial services
- Familiarity with GDPR and ethical research practices
- Experience working in or with UK-based research agencies or consultancy firms

Requirements
Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in market research/consumer insights. Preferably experienced in both primary and secondary research.
- Strong knowledge and experience of market research, data analysis, data visualization and business intelligence tools
- Knowledge/experience of using AI for market research
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to extract and present complex data clearly
- Ability to create clear, concise and succinct research with supported conclusions and recommendations
- Fast, constant learner with a proactive, positive attitude to help our business navigate the complex strategic and operational challenges we will encounter on our journey to becoming a world class Venture Studio
- Ability to make connections and cross-reference previously completed research as well as activities across multiple, disparate teams to create comprehensive research. In short - You are a strategic thinker who is good at connecting the dots
- Ability to contact individuals in the industry and conduct trade interviews
