About the Role

What You'll Be Doing
As our BI Developer, you'll be instrumental in building a scalable and sustainable BI capability. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop custom BI solutions.
- Creating robust data models and automated pipelines for large and complex datasets, primarily using Databricks in Azure.
- Championing best practices in data governance, standardisation, and knowledge sharing to foster a strong data culture.
- Driving continuous improvements to deliver maximum value to the business.
Who We're Looking For
We need an experienced BI Developer with a proven track record. The ideal candidate will have:
- BI Expertise: The ability to design, build, and maintain effective BI solutions.
- Strong Communication: A knack for translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Data Management Skills: Experience in data modelling and handling large datasets.
- Coding Proficiency: Solid skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), Power Apps, and SQL .
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects and familiarity with DevOps tools.
