Location: Fully remote (UK-based)
Salary: Up to £80k + 10% bonus
A long-established, consumer-focused digital business backed by private equity. The company is undergoing a significant transformation under new leadership, with a clear three-pillar growth strategy centred around:

The business is in the process of modernising its approach to data and analytics, with major work underway on evolving its subscription model and diversifying revenue streams.
This is a newly created position within the central Analytics, Data, and Engineering function, designed to add an extra layer of leadership within the marketing analytics space.
You'll take full ownership of the marketing analytics function , line-managing one Senior Analyst, and act as the go-to expert for marketing insight and reporting. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, commercial, and product to ensure data-driven decision-making, presenting confidently at executive and board level.
Leading a small analytics team delivering insights to guide marketing targeting, spend, and impact.
Owning full-funnel, cross-platform customer analysis (web analytics, attribution partners, CDPs).
Improving campaign decision-making through attribution, incrementality, and media mix modelling.
Partnering with Data Science to build predictive models (LTV, churn).
Owning and refining marketing forecast models for budget and performance planning.
Using statistical analysis to optimise testing methodologies and outcomes.
Developing best practice, transparent reporting, and actionable insights.
Managing stakeholders across the business to improve marketing decisions.
Building strong cross-functional relationships to promote a data-driven culture.
Working with Data Engineering to manage data requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
Background
Ideally from gaming, but open to e-commerce, ad-tech, or subscription/dating apps.
Must have a strong B2C focus .
Experience
Proven track record in marketing analytics.
Comfortable leading and mentoring others.
Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Line management experience (desirable but not essential).
Technical Skills
SQL (essential).
Power BI / Looker.
Data visualisation expertise (Snowflake desirable).
Knowledge of attribution, forecasting, incrementality testing, MMM, LTV/churn modelling (advantageous).
~£80k base salary + 10% bonus.

The Role:
You'll work alongside experienced analysts and business stakeholders, helping to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights. From data preparation and cleaning to supporting dashboards and regular reporting, you'll play a key part in driving smarter decision-making across the business.
What You'll Be Doing:
Preparing, validating and analysing data from multiple internal systems

About the RoleWe are seeking a strategic and analytical Marketing Data Analyst to join our team.
This position sits at the intersection of product development, customer success, and business intelligence. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights for our clients, drive product improvements, enhance customer value, and support business growth. This role requires both technical expertise in data analysis and the ability to translate complex findings into strategic recommendations.
It is a unique role that will offer freedom to determine our roadmap and approach to data, whilst working closely with collaborative teams internally and externally to create insights & strategies from data gold mines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead data architecture improvements to enhance accessibility and usability across teams
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop the roadmap

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in marketing, digital advertising, or SaaS environments
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses
- Strong experience with data visualisation tools and dashboard creation
- Demonstrated ability to build predictive models and conduct statistical analysis
- Understanding of marketing metrics, attribution modeling, and customer journey analytics
- Familiarity or experience in advanced techniques such as machine learning, MMM and propensity modelling
