What You’ll Do
The SVP, Integrated Marketing - Entertainment EMEIA will lead a small team to oversee brand marketing for high profile, entertainment brands including David Beckham and Shaquille O’Neal across integrated marketing strategy, content development, audience acquisition and marketing management. In this role you’ll be responsible for spearheading all brand marketing efforts supporting our Entertainment portfolio in EMEIA. This role embraces strategic planning and execution, oversees brand building, and drives best-in-class support and enablement for our brand partners. The SVP is responsible for developing relationships with regional commercial partners to lead strategic campaigns and launches in media, events, merchandise, and endorsements rooted in the annual brand plan. Exemplary internal and external stakeholder management is key to ensuring that marketing plans are on budget and goals are being met.
What you’ll be working on
- Strategic focus in creating relevance to reaching new audiences, engagement in commercial success to help underpin thinking – we are striving for best in class in everything we do
- Ensure reputational protection of brands
- Lead Integrated Marketing team across Digital and Social to deliver brand goals
- Implement integrated brand strategy and marketing/digital plans to achieve brand goals and annual financial targets
- Manage the implementation of 360-degree brand marketing, digital/social, and initiatives that drive brand awareness and license partner sales (including campaign activations, creative asset development, public relations, and digital components)
- Manage consistent, ongoing communication with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring activation plans, execution timelines, deliverables, and accountabilities are clear and aligned with the business
- Participate in planning for all brand partners in EMEAI and global HQ using consumer trends and market data to identify brand growth opportunities
- Integrate new partners into the EMEAI integrated marketing ecosystem in partnership with global HQ
- Manage a marketing calendar for entertainment brands to optimise posting schedule and engagement opportunities
- Working both organically and within a given budget, lead local execution of influencer and content marketing campaigns to promote across platforms
- Submit well crafted and clear briefs for required assets into in-house and external creative teams
- Compile and interpret analytics reporting across owned brands, utilising global tools, and build weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting related to EMEAI brand performance.
- Leverage recaps and data to support new business pipeline and liaise directly with EMEAI sales counterparts on pitches and commercial terms.
- Monitor user generated content for use across channels and ensure that rights are requested and received from all influencers and users who tag the brands in photos. Coordinate with celebrity image agencies to secure images and rights for social/digital use for all brands
- Liaise with legal and brand management teams on the latest guidelines and recommendations surrounding content ownership, usage, and disclosures
- Develop and manage EMEAI marketing budgets for brands
- Oversee the management of product need requests for campaigns and influencer seeding for partners within region
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or a similar field
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in brand marketing and management in the entertainment brand marketing space operating within leadership capacity
- Demonstrated sound judgement in an advisory role that ensured reputational protection of brands.
- Asia and the US play a major role in our strategy, so experience and understanding of the US and Asian markets and their media landscapes are key.
- Proven track record in creating and executing strategic and successful 360-degree brand and marketing campaigns and initiatives that resonate across campaign design, public relations, and digital/social media marketing, with an understanding of the consumer product landscape
- Leadership experience; built and led teams across digital, influencer and social media marketing
- Demonstrated success conducting and incorporating detailed analyses into marketing planning and decision making
- Exemplary communication, and presentation skills
- Resilient, confident, action-oriented mindset
- Strong computer proficiency with strength in AI technologies, MS Office, all social media platforms, and critical social analytics and influencer management tools
