Our client, a globally recognised leader in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an accomplished and visionary Head of Brand Management to lead their brand strategy development and execution. This is a fully remote position, allowing for exceptional flexibility and the opportunity to shape brand trajectories from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for driving brand growth, innovation, and market penetration for a portfolio of dynamic consumer brands. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, market trends, and effective brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of brand managers, fostering a high-performance culture and driving professional development.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all relevant channels (digital, traditional, experiential).
  • Conduct in-depth market research, consumer insights analysis, and competitive landscape assessments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage brand P&Ls, ensuring profitable growth and effective budget allocation.
  • Drive product innovation and development pipeline, collaborating with R&D, sales, and operations teams.
  • Champion brand consistency and elevate brand perception in the marketplace.
  • Develop strong relationships with external agencies (advertising, PR, digital) to ensure impactful brand execution.
  • Monitor brand performance metrics, analyse results, and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Represent the brand in key internal and external forums.
  • Stay abreast of emerging consumer trends, digital marketing innovations, and competitive activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Significant (typically 8+ years) progressive experience in brand management within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful consumer brands and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Deep understanding of consumer insights, market segmentation, and brand positioning.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and execution.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and P&Ls.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and navigate complex market dynamics.
  • A passion for building and growing consumer brands.
