Marketplace Sales Executive

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketplace Sales Executive to oversee and optimise the performance of our Vivactive and Hydrosure ecommerce brands across multiple online marketplaces. You will be responsible for creating and managing listings, monitoring inventory, pricing, promotions, and customer service across Amazon (UK & FR), eBay UK, and several French local marketplaces.

This is a key role in ensuring our products are accurately represented, competitively positioned, and readily available to our customers to purchase on these platforms.

Can you:

Manage our Marketplace sales (Amazon, eBay)

  • Manage product listings, content updates, and categorisation to ensure optimal visibility and compliance on each marketplace.

  • Conduct daily audits of listings for errors or policy violations and resolve issues promptly.

  • Monitor seller performance metrics (e.g., late shipment rate, order defect rate, feedback) and take corrective actions to maintain high scores.

  • Track and respond to customer queries, returns, and feedback across platforms to maintain brand reputation.

Oversea our Amazon Seller Central account

  • Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and key metrics via Seller Central dashboard.

  • Manage Buy Box eligibility, suppressed listings, stranded inventory, and voice of the customer (VoC) reports.

  • Launch and optimise deals, promotions, and coupons.

  • Oversee FBA and FBM processes, ensuring timely stock replenishment and shipment tracking.

  • Use data to identify trends, keyword opportunities, and conversion blockers.

Maintain the Rithum (ChannelAdvisor) platform

  • Optimise data feeds and product templates across multiple marketplaces.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve feed errors, mapping mismatches, and system sync issues.

  • Set and monitor pricing rules, dynamic repricing strategies, and stock buffers.

  • Schedule and run regular updates to ensure content and inventory are current.

  • Collaborate with IT or support teams to improve automation and integrations where possible.

You Need:

  • Proven experience setting up and managing Amazon Seller Central and other marketplaces in the UK. EU experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Rithum (ChannelAdvisor) or similar multichannel platforms.

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and performance data.

  • Experience with marketplace compliance policies and content optimisation.

  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional coordination and customer interaction.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

  • Experience in healthcare or gardening/outdoor product categories preferred

  • Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, Wise Robot etc

  • Basic knowledge of SEO, PPC (Amazon Ads), and feed optimisation best practices.

Head of Product - Marketplace

Akkodis are currently working in partnership with a leading service provider to recruit an experienced Head of Product to lead a successful team of Product Owners and Business Analysts to deliver innovation and growth of our client's cloud platform.

The Role

As the Head of Product you will be the driving force behind the success and growth of the Cloud platform. This role combines strategic leadership, innovation, and operational delivery to position the product as the leading online platform in a competitive landscape.

The Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the product, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving innovation, operational excellence, and revenue growth.
  • Drive product innovation by analysing market trends, competition, and partner needs to maintain leadership in the sector.
  • Oversee the roadmap, balancing long-term strategy with short-term deliverables to achieve milestones and ensure scalability.
  • Mentor and coach the product team, introducing best practices and methodologies to enhance performance and elevate team capabilities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, proactively addressing challenges to improve morale and productivity.
  • Drive the adoption and expert use of Jira across the product team, enhancing workflow efficiency and product management processes.
  • Serve as a trusted deputy to the Director of Products, ensuring consistency with the broader product strategy and taking the lead on critical work when required.
  • Engage with C-level executives and stakeholders to present strategies, outcomes, and progress, ensuring alignment across the organization.

The Requirements

  • Proven track record managing cloud or PAAS products.
  • Strong understanding of product processes and lifecycle management.
  • Skilled at navigating executive-level discussions and achieving alignment on strategic initiatives
  • Capable of influencing stakeholders across departments and driving cross-functional collaboration
  • Energetic, ambitious, and eager to grow into a potential successor role
  • Adaptable to dynamic, mid-sized business environments with evolving priorities
