- Ensure content is localised for each market, leveraging translation, copywriting, and creative resources.
- Maintain full compliance with Amazon guidelines and local regulations.
- Continuously improve listings through A/B testing, keyword optimisation, enhanced brand content (A+), updated visuals, and video assets.
Amazon Advertising, Promotions, and Analytics
- Develop, implement, and optimise advertising strategies across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display to achieve ACOS/ROAS targets.
- Plan and execute promotions, including Lightning Deals, Coupons, and seasonal campaigns (Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Week, Christmas), ensuring alignment with global priorities and local needs.
- Analyse sales, traffic, conversion, and advertising data using Amazon reports and BI tools, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and cross-functional teams to align off-Amazon campaigns, promotions, and content updates with Amazon strategy.
Compliance & Account Health
- Ensure all Amazon activities comply with Amazon policies and European regulations, including consumer product and advertising laws.
- Monitor Account Health Dashboard and address issues such as listing suppressions, policy violations, IP complaints, or negative feedback.
- Implement preventative measures to safeguard account integrity and operational continuity.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the founding Amazon EU team member, building and scaling the team within the first few months.
- Hire, train, and manage additional team members as the business grows.
- Establish KPIs, workflows, and SOPs for EU/UK marketplace operations.
- Collaborate with merchandising, allocation, creative, performance marketing, logistics, and legal teams.
- Maintain close coordination with the China-based e-commerce team to adapt proven practices for the EU/UK market.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central management experience for a brand or branded seller, with proven success in growing marketplace performance and scaling revenues across multiple EU marketplaces
- Strong operational expertise in FBA, listing management, feed uploads, and logistics, with solid knowledge of VAT, tax, and compliance requirements for UK/EU Amazon sellers
- Proficient in Amazon tools and features, including PAN-EU FBA, Brand Registry & Brand Store, Advertising Console, and Business/Brand Analytics
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability to interpret sales, traffic, and advertising data; BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) or SQL experience is a plus
- Proven success in setting up processes, building scalable workflows, and managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience creating, managing, and optimising Amazon PPC campaigns with a focus on ACOS, ROAS, and other performance KPIs
- Strong collaboration skills with marketing, content, and creative teams to deliver a consistent, high-converting brand presence on Amazon
- Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership capabilities; previous team management or mentoring experience is highly desirable
Desirable but Not Essential
- Experience in the toy industry or pop culture retail sector.
- Familiarity with UK and European retail landscapes.
- Understanding of designer toy and collectible trends, particularly in the art toy market.
- Additional European languages such as German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Chinese are a strong plus.
