WorkwithYorkshire are working with a client who have an excellent opportunity for a German Speaking Marketplace/Account Specialist to join their company. The role will require you to be commercially driven, display strong organisation and admin skills, and provide German language expertise across product listings and marketplaces.
This is a permanent, full-time position from Monday to Friday. Flexible start and finish times are available: start between 8am and 9.30am and finish between 4pm and 5.30pm. Due to the location, you will need transport and free car parking is available.
Duties:
- Listing products across the website and various German marketplaces.
- Ensuring the product listings gain maximum exposure through SEO and marketplace-specific tools to increase sales.
- Monitoring and optimising listing and marketplace performance.
- Discovering new German marketplaces to expand presence and manage them to drive additional sales.
- Growing the company's presence on existing German marketplaces to boost sales.
- Providing German language (verbal/written) support as required by the business.
- Handling any associated administration related to the role and marketing team.
Key skills and experience;

You will be working with platforms like Amazon Seller Central , Linnworks , Scales Insights , Microsoft Excel/Office , and other marketplace management tools.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and operational sides of ecommerce and is comfortable navigating multiple systems and resolving platform-specific challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and integrate new online marketplaces using Linnworks , ensuring smooth syncing of inventory, orders, and listings.
- Upload and manage product listings across platforms including Amazon Seller Central , eBay , Etsy , Shopify , and others.
- Use Scales Insights and similar analytics tools to monitor performance and detect listing or sync issues.
- Troubleshoot listing errors, investigate upload failures, and take corrective action in collaboration with marketplace support.
- Open and manage support cases with sales channels (e.g., Amazon, eBay) to resolve technical or listing issues.
- Maintain accurate product and inventory data using Microsoft Excel and other internal tools.
