**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
**Your main tasks:**
· Full responsibility for materials planning related to assigned product line through managing all internal customer calls, and determining what action to take and communicating information as required to the rest of the team.
· Maintenance of rolling orderbooks for customer requirements, ensuring plans are kept up to date and customers notified in advance of any changes to order
· Monthly & quarterly billings & inventory targets for assigned GPL
· Ensuring that material and capacity feasible production plan is set to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time to their requirement.
· Review and resolve mid to long range schedule conflicts ensuring supply balance and improved inventory, raising any supply issues or escalations
· Introduction and management of drawing changes throughout the supply chain.
· Updating materials plan in preparation for the weekly load meeting
· Liaising with Production Scheduler/Value stream leader on any changes to the production or materials plan.
· Reviewing MOQs, lead-times and safety stocks with Procurement, manufacturing and adjusting where appropriate.
· Attending daily PIM meetings, weekly load meetings with supervisor's and management when require

**Your ideal background:**
· 2 - 3 years of experience in materials OR production planning
· Experience in SAP is a must have or similar MRP system
· Degree level or equivalent
· Highly effective communication skills in all forms
· Good organizational skills with an ability to work effectively to deadlines
· A high attention to detail with an ability to follow through on commitments
· Strong numeracy and IT skills including intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Excel

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Stock Replenishment team, including appraisals, reviews, and personal development.
- Oversee supplier performance, acting as first point of escalation for shortages or quality issues.
- Manage contracts (4–13 weeks) and call-offs (1–3 weeks) in line with forecasts and production plans.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Commercial, and GTM teams to ensure accurate and timely call-offs and contracts.
- Maintain KPIs, dashboards, purchase orders, stock levels, and safety stocks, ensuring data accuracy across systems (Sage, Infor).
- Drive continuous improvement across stock replenishment systems, processes, and supplier management.
- Manage supplier relationships end-to-end, including expediting materials, monitoring contracts, handling queries, and reducing obsolescence risk.
- Lead packaging management, including redesigns, delists, and NPD launches.
- Resolve invoice queries, raise hold/rejection notes, and support stock take activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on health & safety, brand integrity, and professional standards.
- Take an active role in self-development, training, and contributing to ad hoc projects as required.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Refresco as an MRP Controller on an 8-month fixed-term contract, supporting our team through a period of change as we implement S4Hana. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our production running smoothly by scheduling the delivery of raw materials to our UK sites, balancing stock levels with production needs.

The role:
Reporting to the Materials Purchasing Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring that the production schedule is achieved through effective ordering and delivery of materials to sites. The MRP Coordinators' role is to schedule the delivery of raw materials to support the production plan, whilst working within agreed target stock levels across all UK sites.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Analyse and execute MRP requirements to meet production plans.
- Identify and resolve material shortages, expediting orders as needed.
- Investigate shortages, implement corrective actions, and escalate if required.
- Monitor overdue deliveries and follow up with suppliers.
- Manage stock levels, forward orders, and site-to-site transfers to prevent overstocking and obsolescence.
- Provide forecasts to suppliers and stock data for project managers.
- Monitor expiring batches and adjust production to minimize waste.
- Attend supplier meetings and support continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain MRP Master Data in SAP/IREN for efficiency and automation.
- Support MRP Administrator with OTIF data, RORI, and holiday coverage
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience in MRP or Supply Chain planning
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Proficient in IT, especially Excel and SAP
