We are seeking a passionate and driven Maths Teacher to join a thriving Mathematics department at a school in Oxford. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons that build numeracy, problem-solving skills and confidence across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional, depending on experience)
Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Assess pupil progress regularly and provide targeted support or extension
Foster a positive, focused classroom culture where students feel confident to take risks
Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the department
Take part in school CPD, open evenings, and enrichment activities like maths clubs or competitions
Ideal Maths Teacher:
Has QTS and a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
Is committed to high standards and student achievement
Possesses excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills as a Maths Teacher.
Uses a variety of teaching strategies to support and challenge learners
