The right Maths Teacher / SEMH Teacher will have the following:

Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced SEMH teacher who specialises in teaching Maths for a permanent teaching job in Loughborough, Leicester, LE12 3GP. If you are a SEND (SEMH) specialist who is available from either September or October 2025, we would be keen to speak with you. 

If you are an experienced Maths teacher who has worked with SEND (SEMH) across either primary or secondary phases this role may be for you. The role is offered as a permanent, full-time post based at a small, alternative provision school with places for up to 36 students. Typically, the site caters for pupils aged 7-17 with SEND requirements such as SEMH and Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. A tour of the site and an informal meeting with the Regional Executive Director can be arranged. 

This site is part of a national trust who are focussed on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and they work closely with them to develop self-belief to become effective learners. If you are of a similar mindset and ethos, we would be very happy to discuss the role in more detail.

In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:

A relevant UK based teaching and/or leadership qualification.
Substantial experience working with pupils with SEND within an education setting.

Exceptional references.
