What You Will Learn and Do:
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components.
- Gain practical skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Learn to use a variety of electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and control systems.
- Understand and apply safety procedures and regulations relevant to electrical work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and issues under supervision.
- Contribute to project documentation and record-keeping.
- Work towards a recognized qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Develop strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to technical challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C (4) or above, including Maths, English, and ideally a Science or Technical subject, or equivalent qualifications.
- A genuine interest in electrical engineering and a willingness to learn.
- Good practical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to undertake both on-site and off-site training as required.
