The Role:
- Develop and maintain mechanical design information and management systems, ensuring integration with other disciplines for efficient manufacture and supply of new products (using SolidWorks and PDM Works).
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to achieve optimal engineering solutions.
- Manage the evolution of standard upgrade options for products post-launch.
The Person:
- Minimum HNC in Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design, open to junior, graduate, and senior-level engineers.
- Ideally experience designing pressure vessels, tanks, rotating/flow equipment (valves, pumps, etc) conveying systems, mechanical/material handling, special purpose machinery, etc
- Understanding of European Directives, CE Marking, ASME standards , and North American pressure equipment regulations.
- 3D Modelling experience is a must. Ideally Solidworks but open to similar design packages such as Inventor or Solidedge, etc
Salary & Benefits:

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team supporting Sensors & Protection Technologies (S&PT) programs. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronics packaging solutions for integration onto platforms.
- Produce detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings using PTC Creo V7.
- Conduct preliminary structural and thermal checks using Creo Simulate.
- Collaborate with analysts using ANSYS Icepak, Fluent, and Siemens NX Nastran for detailed thermal and structural assessments.
- Ensure designs meet PHDP and Lifecycle Management (LCM) system requirements.
