Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing and performing advanced maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks to ensure that equipment, machinery, and systems operate effectively and efficiently in the manufacturing and commercial environment. THE ROLE
 
  • Maintaining paint plant, coating and wash based facilities

  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities on automated production facilities. (PPM)

  • Able to prepare shift reports to highlight the shift problems and communicate this to the team in a shift handover
 
THE PERSON
 
  • Has served a 4 year apprenticeship in Multi-skilled maintenance, preferably in an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Educated to HNC level or equivalent in a Multi-Skilled discipline (Mechanical Bias).
  • Has experience maintaining automated facilties, fault finding and implementing improvements.
  • Possess a good mechanical knowledge of pumps, motors, conveyor systems including pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical.
  • Has experience refurbishing pumps, motors and bearings
  • Possess a good knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques
  • Able to produce technical reports with good working knowledge of maintenance systems.
