The Account Manager -Media Sales role is part time (2.5 - 3 days per week) and for an initial period of 12 months, though there's a strong chance for the right person it could be extended. The role can be split over 3 - 5 days as long as it's on an approximate 60/40 split, 60% in the office.

The position is a hybrid of managing existing accounts and targeting new business though weighted to existing and inbound enquiries, in niche areas with established readerships and gravitas in particular fields. You will need to be an intelligent consultative salesperson, with the ability to maximise contracts, but also pitch and develop new ideas for businesses. Creativity is praised and nurtured, and ideas for solutions always welcome.

Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 1 - 2 years media sales experience, though if you come from other B2B sales roles selling consultatively and are happy to make outbound calls you will also be considered.

We are seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and collaborative Strategy & Operations Business Partner to support Korn Ferry Digital's EMEA Commercial Team. Operational Excellence
  • Drive process improvements across the sales (e.g., pipe generation, deal execution, system use, QBRs).
  • Partner with RevOps, Finance, and Enablement teams to streamline systems, tools, and processes.
  • Lead or support strategic initiatives such as pricing changes, sales plays, or customer lifecycle programs.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to GTM leaders, providing objective insights and support for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

In the EMEA Strategy team, we work closely with our internal business leaders to glean their knowledge, incorporate data from external sources, and develop our own insights to inform and drive change across our EMEA sales organization. As a EMEA Strategy Lead, you will own strategic analysis and end-to-end project alignment, and act as a key connection point between and integrator of WW and EMEA strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong strategy experience, a deep analytical background, financial acumen, and experience implementing complex global sales strategy initiatives. They will have experience working closely with leadership to drive growth and a customer-first mindset, and bring the foresight required to anticipate business needs, make short- and long-term trade-offs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints. Strong judgement and a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority are keys to success, as well as knowing where and when to advocate vigorously for a well-informed position.

Key job responsibilities
* Drive strategic recommendations for EMEA within AWS Global Sales organization, guiding investments to achieve organizational goals
* Develop relationships with senior leaders across organizations to gain and share strategic insights, serving as a trusted advisor on complex business decisions
* Manage highly complex and visible strategic initiatives. Influence cross-functional teams and leaders to drive business decisions with a focus on growth and efficient scaling of the business (e.g., data driven recommendations over sales investment and coverage models)
* Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, develop insights and analysis, and synthesize learnings to author proposals of strategic importance that drive change in EMEA and across AWS Global Sales
* Partner closely with Sales, Sales Operations and Planning teams to design/establish/improve mechanisms to monitor and review success metrics with key stakeholders
* Up to 15% travel, including international

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or in a strategic capacity at a technology or Fortune 500 company
- Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and documents to deliver to senior leaders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional audiences across all levels of the organization on complex strategies
- Strong financial acumen and first-principles problem solving skills (conceptual and analytical)
- Experience using analytical tools such SQL, Python, Tableau, QuickSight
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with global B2B sales organizations
- Senior-level knowledge of cloud computing and IT markets
- Ability to operate efficiently in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Our client is a leading provider of Fire & Security solutions across the UK, specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive sales of both new system installations and long-term maintenance contracts.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, focusing on system sales and recurring revenue from maintenance contracts. You will work closely with commercial, industrial, and residential clients, offering tailored fire & security solutions and ensuring long-term service agreements.

Full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to grow new business opportunities.
  • Proactively sell fire & security maintenance contracts to new and existing clients.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring long-term service agreements.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent after-sales service.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities.
  • Respond quickly and close leads provided

Requirements

No specific industry knowledge is required although experience selling maintenance contracts and service agreements would be advantageous

A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Full UK driving licence
