The Role:
As a Graduate Regulatory Affairs Associate, you will support the compliance of our medical device portfolio with international regulations.
Responsibilities include:

We're looking for a driven and consultative sales specialist to represent our full Advanced Surgical Technologies (AST) portfolio - including Surgical Stapling, Advanced Energy, and Haemostats. You'll work closely with hospitals across Scotland, accelerating business growth by building relationships with key clinical stakeholders and identifying new opportunities. Working collaboratively with the broader surgical team, you'll take ownership of your territory pipeline and consistently exceed targets, reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

+ Build a healthy pipeline through both new business development and account expansion

Job Description
The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing robust test strategies to verify and validate advanced surgical technologies, ensuring that all products meet stringent functional, performance, and regulatory requirements. The role demands strong technical competence and hands-on capability in the design, build, and integration of custom test rigs and automated systems to support product development and certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive verification and validation (V&V) programmes across electronic, mechanical, and software domains.
- Design, build, and commission bespoke test rigs, jigs, and fixtures to support prototype and production testing, ensuring repeatability and accuracy of results.
- Develop and maintain automated and manual test protocols, including hardware and software integration for data capture and analysis.
- Analyse test outcomes, identify failure modes, and drive root-cause analysis and design improvements in collaboration with R&D teams.
- Ensure full compliance with medical device standards (ISO 13485, IEC 60601, FDA/CE) and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- Degree (BEng/MEng or equivalent) in Electronics, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Systems Engineering; postgraduate or relevant professional qualifications advantageous.
- Proven experience in test engineering within a regulated environment, ideally in medical devices, aerospace, or precision instrumentation
- Strong hands-on capability in designing, assembling, and commissioning custom test rigs, including mechanical, electrical, and control elements
