PE Global is recruiting a Patient Support Specialist for our multinational pharmaceutical client based in Basingstoke. The role is hybrid with 3 days a week onsite. This is an initial 12-month contract , and the rate for this role is £27.78 p/hour PAYE .
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the client and a third-party vendor delivering a digital Patient Support Programme (PSP)
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of a fully compliant patient support platform in the weight management therapy area
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams including medical, compliance, IT, marketing, and patient access to ensure programme readiness
- Oversee all content certification using Veeva Vault PromoMats , including reviewer assignment, referencing, and lifecycle management
- Maintain audit trails, claims matrices, and documentation to ensure programme compliance and inspection readiness
- Ensure adherence to ABPI Code of Practice, MHRA, GDPR, NHS, and pharmacovigilance regulations
- Prepare and deliver field team resources including training materials, FAQs, playbooks, and launch briefings
- Track patient engagement, service KPIs, and feedback to drive programme optimisation and continuous improvement
- Manage programme budget, vendor performance, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or patient support programme sectors
- In-depth knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice , with a strong preference for experience working on:
- Patient support programmes
- Collaborative or joint working
- Package deals, donations, and sponsorships
- Comprehensive understanding of content certification standards and processes
- Proficiency in Veeva Vault PromoMats (or similar compliance and asset management systems)
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Experience working within UK healthcare or NHS patient pathways (especially in cardiometabolic or weight management areas) is a plus
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into improvements

Oversee & coordinate assigned QA program in support of customer accounts, functional accounts, or QA quality management system at a regional and/or global level. Provide support to management with insights, analyses and support in the assessment and promotion of compliance with regulations, guidelines, and operating procedures, risk identification and mitigation, quality, process, productivity/efficiency improvement initiatives . Manage the quality assurance oversight of projects, assignments, training and staff.
**Essential Functions**
- Provide guidance, interpretation, support, training, and key input to development groups for consultation and interpretation of regulations, guidelines, corporate standards, and policies.
- Oversee and participate in the documentation, reporting, and closure of compliance issues.
- Organize and deliver training to other IQVIA departments concerning the activities of Quality services, results of activities, quality initiatives, GXP etc.
- Ensure the follow-up of major and critical audit findings to ensure that appropriate actions have been taken and have adequately resolved the issues identified.
- Evaluate policies and procedures for compliance with applicable regulations/guidelines and provide recommendations to management for continuous process improvements.
- Serve as author of Quality Assurance Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs) as assigned.
- Advise Quality Assurance management on system audit needs.
- Ensure the Quality Assurance database is maintained and up-to-date to reflect the status of audits being scheduled, auditor assignment and audit reporting and/or follow-up status.
- Host customer audits, mock regulatory inspections, and regulatory facility inspections as needed
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree Pref
- 7 years Quality Assurance experience in pharmaceutical, technical, or related area. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Commercial Patient Support experience is a must.
- Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical research and development processes and regulatory environments.
- Considerable knowledge of quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem solving, risk analysis and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional training capabilities.

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join a community-based diagnostic testing centre delivering vital services to patients closer to home. This service plays a key role in the early detection of serious health conditions and aims to significantly reduce waiting times by offering a range of tests and checks outside of traditional hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy (blood tests) in accordance with clinical safety and hygiene protocols
- Conduct 12-lead ECGs accurately and independently
- Set up and support the smooth running of clinics, ensuring all equipment and resources are prepared for patient appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide compassionate, patient-centred care throughout the diagnostic process
Essential Requirements:
- Substantial experience working as an HCA in a GP surgery or community healthcare setting
- Proven competence in phlebotomy and/or 12-lead ECGs
- Phlebotomy certificate required
- Confident working independently and managing a busy workload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
