Sounds great, what will I be doing?
Empower a caseload of service users to manage their health and wellbeing. As part of a team, you will support a staffing rota offering support to service users between the hours of 8am-10pm Mon-Sun each week. In collaboration with your team, you will actively monitor wellbeing, mental health, housing and living environment to ensure service users journey into independence.
Moreover, you will take a solution focused and coproduced approach to supporting service users with their move-on into independent living.

Here's what the team will be looking for
You will have experience of working with people with mental health and/or dual diagnosis issues in either a paid or voluntary capacity. You will be able to learn quickly, gather information, and make sound decisions while processing and recording information accurately, in line with confidentiality requirements. With the ability to engage people who may present challenging behaviour, you will use de-escalation skills to defuse difficult situations and apply a solution-focused, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
You will bring optimism about people's capacity for change, combined with a calm, non-judgemental, and anti-discriminatory approach. The role requires resilience and the ability to work effectively within a chaotic or pressured environment, as well as the flexibility to cover unsociable hours, including early, late, and occasional weekend shifts as part of a rota. A strong understanding of safeguarding issues and the ability to address them appropriately will also be essential.
