We are a niche law firm offering a personal and quality service who specialise in Commercial Litigation but also have Private Client, Family / Divorce, Property and Insurance departments. We are a multi-office law firm based in Birmingham who are expanding both organically and through acquisition. This is the perfect opportunity to join an already growing firm with clients

What we are looking for:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Commercial Property ( post-qualification)
li>A solid grounding across the full spectrum of commercial property work, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, leases and assignments, new build developments, planning approvals and conditions, wayleaves and easement agreements, and SIPPsc.  li>An ambitious, forward-looking individual keen to develop and grow.
• Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships, with a following being a welcome asset
• A commercial mindset with an interest in business development, supported by our marketing team and the wider firm

We are working with a local authority's growing legal team in the West Midlands who are looking for an experienced locum commercial property lawyer to join their team!

The work would require someone to be able to hit the ground running and get to grips with a broad range of commercial property matters, as such prior local authority/public sector experience is required.

The role:

• 20 hours per week
• 6 month initial contract, with the option to roll-over
• Rate: 50-60ph depending on candidate experience
• Must have prior and extensive local authority experience
• Must have experience with CPOs, acquisitions, disposals, and lease extensions.

When you join the team with Davisons Law as an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor , you will provide accurate legal advice to clients and handle matters from initial instruction through to completion unsupervised. You will manage your own case load on all legal aspects of buying, selling, leasing, and developing commercial properties.

You will be fully qualified with 3 or more years PQE in Commercial Property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Have a proven track record of providing legal guidance on various commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, and lease negotiations.
• Managing transactions and overseeing the legal aspects of buying, selling, and leasing commercial properties, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and leases.
• To handle a diverse caseload of commercial property transactions.
• Be passionate about engaging in, developing, and maintaining strong professional working relationships with clients, and other professionals.
• Process matters in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Strong organisation skillset, IT literate and experience of using case management systems.
• Be commercially driven and astute , understanding the importance of business targets and their impact to the practice, generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
• To have excellent administrative, planning, organisation, and time management skills .
• Have a firm and functional knowledge within commercial property law, continuously updating your legal knowledge and staying informed about relevant legal developments.

We’re working with a highly ranked national law firm looking to appoint a 1–3 PQE Commercial Property Solicitor to join their Birmingham office on a hybrid working basis.

Salary: £60,000–£68,500
