Our client, a rapidly growing tech company, is seeking an innovative and strategic Remote Public Relations Manager to lead their communications efforts. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies to enhance brand visibility, manage media relations, and shape public perception within the technology industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of media landscapes, excellent storytelling abilities, and a proven track record of securing positive media coverage. You will manage press releases, media kits, social media communications, and crisis communications as needed. This is a crucial role that requires proactive engagement with journalists, influencers, and stakeholders to build and maintain a strong brand reputation. As a fully remote position, you will collaborate with a distributed team and manage your workload effectively. Responsibilities: Developing and implementing integrated PR campaigns and strategies. Writing and distributing press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and influencers. Monitoring media coverage and analysing campaign results. Managing social media platforms and online reputation. Developing and executing crisis communication plans. Advising senior management on public relations matters. Identifying opportunities for thought leadership and speaking engagements. Collaborating with marketing and internal communications teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in PR, preferably within the technology sector. Proven success in media relations and securing positive press coverage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling narratives. Strong understanding of media monitoring and PR analytics tools. Experience with social media management and digital communication strategies. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting. Strategic thinker with strong organisational and project management skills. Passion for technology and its impact.
