About the team
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.
There are two sides to what we do. Our 'under the roof' associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams. Our team is people-focused and supportive, particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations.
Meanwhile, our 'on the road' people work with Amazon Flex - a network of delivery contractors. Every year, we continually raise the bar for customer experience with new, innovative delivery services. We look for new ways to overcome industry wide logistics challenges and new ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supported by a portfolio of vehicles (including Electric Vehicles) and technology to help us do just that.

Position Overview:

Purpose of the Job:
The Military Medical Examiner is responsible for the safe, effective and timely delivery of medical assessments on behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) - for new recruits to the Royal Navy, the Marines to come to conclusion as to their suitability to be invited into the training program.
This involves adopting a holistic medical approach for overall health, and any key factors for further review as highlighted by a senior doctor’s pre-assessment of a candidate’s primary care notes.
Full training is given in this process and reference material is provided to support the clinicians.
General duties:
- To keep up to date with all required training needs and good practice commensurate with the role
- Pre-screening of the full GP record of Navy/ Marine applicants to look for any medical issues that might be a bar to entry in to the Navy/Marines.
- Pre-joining fitness assessments for Marine’s
- Meeting with candidates face-to-face to get more details on those conditions and check what impact they now have
- Full body examinations (no PR genitalia or breasts)
- Make a decision on their fitness to enter, or for more complex candidates, refer to the Senior Navy doctors for further review.
- Once a decision is reached completing the right forms and informing the applicants
- Attending occupational health meetings if necessary to discuss and review cases
- Ensuring proper and robust record-keeping is essential.
- To safeguard candidate welfare by ensuring the highest standards of medical practice are maintained.
- To be present/onsite when delivering this role
- To declare any conflicts of interest.
- To undertake any further activities as required consistent with the aims and objectives of the organisation.
Requirements:
- Full Registration with the GMC and record of Continuous Professional Development
- Full participation in the appraisal and revalidation as required by the GMC
- Good organisational and communication skills in Principal Duties and Responsibilities.
- Team player able to work alongside the clinical team (i.e. Navy personnel, GP’s, HCA’s)
- Manage and resolve clinical queries from front-line clinicians by working collaboratively.
- Appropriately discuss or refer matters that may need further input or sign-off by the GP
- Responsible for the early identification of clinical concerns / escalations and taking the appropriate steps to gather information and undertake any required action.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager. The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager is the site lead for all Engineering matters within a building. They are responsible for leading their team and building a culture of safety; for ensuring all statutory compliance requirements are followed to provide a safe working environment for all occupants of the building; for providing a high level of equipment availability to the General Manager and for working with the EU Engineering team to plan for future growth. They are also required to take part in network wide improvement initiatives and to implement standards created elsewhere in the network.
This role includes a traveling activity of 15%.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the team, own the annual reporting responsibilities for the team and mentor their direct reports who in turn develop the technicians within the team.
· Work with the site Safety department & Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment for all staff. Own the legal responsibilities as the site engineering lead within this framework.
· Work with the recruitment team to ensure allocated headcount is filled with high quality experienced staff. This may include support to Apprentice and Graduate programs.
· Implement standards validated by the EU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to create or update standards as required in order to provide high levels of safety and equipment availability to our internal customers. A key focus is on preventative maintenance programs.
· Maintain equipment failure contingency plans, coordinate rehearsals with affected parties and be prepared to work in a flexible manner to ensure failures or breakdowns are rectified as quickly as possible.
· Maintain a long-term focus by working with Site Management, Finance, the EU Engineering team and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades or new equipment roll outs.

As a Military Sales Advisor , you will build strong relationships with the Military/MoD community, delivering tailored financial protection and wellbeing solutions. You will confidently promote and sell a range of products, including ISAs, Kit, PA, and Travel Insurance, while working independently to exceed sales targets and business objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with customers, their families, and camp personnel.
- Confidently deliver presentations to promote our broader product range.
- Organize reviews, manage appointments, and ensure sales administration meets regulatory and company standards.
- Conduct business in compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Exceed personal sales targets through proactive activity and self-management.
- Seek new business opportunities and generate referrals from existing customers.
- Collaborate with other business areas for shared customer benefits.
- Track and manage income through effective pipeline management.
- Maintain flexibility in working hours and travel to fulfill customer needs.
Skills and Experience Required
- Desirable: Knowledge of the Armed Services environment and/or experience in financial services.
- Desirable: Experience with face-to-face sales and financial protection products.
- Strong customer focus with a propositions-based approach.
- Competent with technology (smartphones, wearable devices) and computer systems.
- Basic numeracy, analytical skills, and the ability to plan effectively.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Mobile and prepared to travel as required.
