We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Gower, our prison education provider at HMP Parc, working as an Art and Graphic Design Tutor in the Young People's unit. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.

Site Information

HMP Parc Prison is a Category B men's prison located in Bridgend, Wales. The prison accommodates individuals who have been convicted of various offenses requiring secure custody and rehabilitation. The prisons aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe at all times. The prison's mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Role Responsibilities

As a Tutor, you will develop and deliver high quality, learner focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus Gower policies and procedure. You'll support learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all who work within our sector. Please see the attached role profile for an overview of general role responsibilities. Specific details pertaining to the nuances of the individual role are shared during the interview process.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold a teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Have experience of creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
  • Have experience of achieving of quality targets
  • Have experience of producing accurate and timely reports
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to motivate and enthuse learners
  • Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload, and meet deadlines and targets
  • Commit to positive teamworking

several visualisation areas and software as well as management related skills. As an integral

part of the team, you will assist the CG team in producing top industry standards

We are looking for a talented artist to join a growing production team creating content for

marketing purposes and web based visual platforms.

  • Assisting producers and account managers planning work and budget for project days
  • Planning production tasks to deliver as per creative vision on time and budget.
  • Preparing technical briefing and delivery documents and making sure output is as per spec, reviewing assets and client information
  • Responsible for production teams efficient and high-quality output as per schedule for each delivery stage
  • Collaborate with other production team members for specialist tasks
  • Advise on shoots for CGI integration
  • Predict and proactively troubleshoot production bottlenecks or issues

Qualifications and Skills - Essential

  • Corona renderer

  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Creative eye for composition and understanding of photographic principles

  • Understanding and attention to architectural drawings
  • Preferably with 8 + years of experience in an EU-based Architectural Visualisation studio

  • Right to work in the UK
