About Our Client
Our client is a patient wellbeing-oriented company based in Polegate that develops and distributes innovative products in the field of Pressure Ulcer Relief and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy for Acute and Community Care Setting and in Private Homes. Their solutions improve the quality of life of patients and sustainably relieve the burden on nursing staff and caregivers at homes.
To strengthen their team, they are looking for an experienced National Sales Manager who will be responsible for sales activities throughout UK and further expand their market position in tender business.
Your Tasks:
- Strategic and operational responsibility for the UK-wide sales activities of our client’s products.
- Active support of existing customers and targeted acquisition of new customers in the Acute and Community Care Setting as well as tenders in public and private sectors.
- Stay updated on procurement framework requirements (e.g. NHS Supply Chain catalogue rules).
- Implementation and achievement of sales targets set by management.
- Market and competition monitoring and identification of new sales opportunities.
- Close collaboration with warehouse, product management and management.
- Travel within UK.
Your Profile:
- Proven success in sales, ideally in the areas of medical technology/care/clinical supplies.
- Experience in dealing with decision-makers in hospitals and care facilities and tenders.
- Familiarity with PIM systems, eCommerce platforms, and B2B portals is desirable.
- Experience with NHS Supply Chain, GHX, or similar platforms is desirable.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. UDI, GMDN, MDR, UKCA) is desirable.
- Clinical background is desirable.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, NAV, etc.) and strong Excel/data handling skills.
- Strong self-motivation, self-organization, and a high level of commercial acumen and negotiating skills.
- The ability to develop positive relationships with all business partners.
- Willingness to travel within UK – your place of residence is flexible.

Product Sales Manager – Hospitality/Retail Operations
Location: Home based with UK wide travel
Salary: £50-55,000 + bonus + car/allowance + benefits
Our Client is a market leading organisation with an impressive portfolio of B2B customers in multiple sectors.
The business supplies equipment into dealers, resellers, and direct end users across sectors such as hospitality, education, HORECA, healthcare, business and industry, and the public sector. To continue their impressive growth strategy they are now looking for a proactive and technically minded Product Sales Manager to grow national sales through a combination of field visits, telephone activity, and dealer engagement.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on sales professional, someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new customers, and converting opportunities.
The role:
- To proactively generate new business across dealer networks and direct end users through structured field and telephone activity, thereafter securing repeat business
- To identify and qualify prospects, develop tailored proposals, and convert enquiries into confirmed orders
- To manage the full sales process from initial contact to quotation, negotiation, and close, prioritising sales visits, calls, and follow-ups to achieve activity and conversion targets
- To re-energise dormant customers through targeted campaigns and regular communication
- To build a thorough understanding of the company’s product range to be able to provide the best advice concerning product & technical support, thereafter to match client requirements to suitable specifications, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance
- To liaise with internal project and service teams to ensure seamless coordination from order to installation
- To provide accurate, timely quotations and ensure all documentation is complete and commercially sound
- To stay up to date with and provide feedback regarding market intelligence, pricing data, and customer insights to inform product strategy
- To achieve individual sales and margin targets, contributing directly to divisional growth objectives
- To maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting using CRM systems
- To monitor and stay abreast of competitor activity, pricing, and promotional trends, proposing tactical responses
- To work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure strong product knowledge and competitive positioning
The person:
- Proven experience in a product sales or business development role within hospitality, education, HORECA, healthcare, or a similar technical environment
- Confident managing both telephone and field-based selling, balancing prospecting with relationship management
- A demonstrable track record of success regularly achieving annual sales targets
- Experience selling to dealer/distributor networks as well as directly to end users
- Familiar with quotation management, pricing, and margin control in capital equipment sales
- Skilled in building new customer bases while maintaining strong existing relationships
- Ability to interpret technical information and explain it clearly to internal & external stakeholders
- Highly motivated and self-starting – thrives on achieving and exceeding targets
- Confident communicator to a broad range of stakeholders
- Organised and methodical with excellent time management and attention to detail
- Customer-focused, commercially aware, and results-driven.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and resilient in a fast-moving, competitive sales environment
- Ambitious and career-minded, with future potential to take on greater responsibility as the product division scales
- Comfortable travelling extensively across the UK, therefore, requiring a full UK driving license
