About the Role


BAE are looking for an experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and maintain secure, high-performing IT infrastructure within a highly regulated defence environment.


You’ll be responsible for delivering robust networking and infrastructure solutions that support complex engineering and software development systems — ensuring reliability, scalability and compliance with strict security standards.

This role forms part of the Technical Services Team , working alongside Network, Security and Infrastructure specialists to deliver and support advanced digital environments.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, implement and maintain network and infrastructure solutions across physical and virtual environments.
  • Configure and support switching, routing, firewalls, VLANs, VNets and software-defined networks.
  • Build and administer Windows and Linux servers within secure, high-availability environments.
  • Monitor system performance and security, ensuring compliance with governance and change control processes.

Skills and Experience Essential:
