You will conduct thorough garage audits, ensuring each audit meets the required quality level. Audits will be tailored to both customer-specific and Prestige-specific requirements, necessitating a strong understanding of audit and compliance management.

The role involves account management for each garage once appointed, ensuring standards are maintained, and will involve promotion of AA/Prestige products and services.  Area Network Managers are expected to communicate any risks or threats to the business with services provided to AA Prestige from the garage network.

What will I be doing?
  • Network Management:  Proactively manage and motivate the network of AA Approved garages to ensure the highest standards for our customers, including resolving complaints and ensuring annual audits and compliance
  • External Audits:  Conduct audits for external companies as required
  • Sales and Retention:  Drive the growth and retention of garages within your designated area while supporting the full UK network growth
  • Business Management Support:  Analyse data, produce management information (MI) and insights, and support effective growth and management of the AA owned and AA Affiliated Network Business areas
  • Quality & Compliance Inspections:  Regularly inspect garages to ensure standards and compliance are met.
  • Performance Management:  Use data to manage garage performance and ensure compliance with KPIs and legal requirements
  • Reporting:  Provide monthly performance and risk reports to senior management
  • Mystery Shops:  Conduct unannounced visits to assess service quality
  • Complaint Management:  Investigate and resolve complaints in line with AA Prestige guidelines
  • Promotion:  Promote the AA Approved network and value-added services to new and existing garage partners
  • Collaboration:  Work closely with the roadside section to drive tow-in work to AA Approved garages
What do I need?
  • Experience:  Minimum of 3 years in the motor industry aftermarket environment
  • Knowledge:  Good commercial awareness of the AA brand and AA Prestige Garage product
  • Skills:  Strong communication, data analysis, and IT skills (Microsoft 365)
  • Education:  Minimum Level 3 Motor Industry qualification or equivalent is desirable
  • Personal Traits:  Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work under pressure

Markets and Securities is part of the Operations Office for EMEA that supports MUFGu2019s core products and services including Banking (commercial/retail based payments, loans, derivatives, trade finance) and Securities (Derivatives, FX, Fixed Income, Equity etc.). The role of Operations Network Management is to manage the interaction between Operations, MUFGu2019s internal clients (Front Office, Trading Desks etc.) and MUFG external Agent network (cash, custodian etc.) and also has close ties with other support areas such as Finance, Legal, Compliance and Risk.



**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**



The Network Management team is in a pivotal position within MUFG Securities and MUFG Bank as it is responsible for managing all Cash, Custody, Clearing and Execution relationships such as Nostro agents, Custodians, Clearing Houses, Brokers, E-platforms and Exchanges.



In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Network Management team across MUFGu2019s banking arm and securities business under a dual-hat arrangement. Under this arrangement, you will act and make decisions on behalf of both the bank and the securities business, subject to the same remit and level of authority, and irrespective of the entity which employs you.



The main purpose of the role is to support the Network Management team in on/off boarding new Agent relationships, assisting on all relationship management aspects including issue management, escalations, fee reviews and due diligence reviews, whilst also supporting Management with ad hoc requests. The role will be relationship focused and will also involve a large degree of analysis, monitoring and change work in order to ensure MUFG makes the most of all our external relationships.



**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**



The role will include the following primary responsibilities:


Ongoing reviews of Agent Bank providers. This will include various Due Diligence procedures such as annual Due Diligence questionnaires, contract reviews and arranging periodical service review meetings
Co-ordination of new relationship documentation u2013 including legal agreements and account opening documentation
Proactively assist with incoming queries whilst ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely manner
Assisting in the creation and production of Network Management MIS
Understand process flows to be to be able to identify workflow and operational efficiencies
Assisting on regulatory and change projects such as ISO20022 and T+1
Assisting with the day to day management of the Cash and Custody Invoicing and Recharging process
Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish a peer network, gather relevant information and help to ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration
Adherence to global standards of information storage and dissemination
On-boarding new Banking accounts on to MUFGu2019s systems



**WORK EXPERIENCE**



The role will include the following primary responsibilities:


Previous Network Management experience or in a similar role is essential
Good understanding of front to back transaction flows within an Operational context
Experience in another Operational role such as Settlements, Collateral, Trade Support, Ops Project Management would be beneficial
Experience in helping on projects and initiatives
Experience in managing Cash and Custody relationships
Experience in Derivatives clearing would be advantageous
Previous experience within a top tier Broker-Dealer preferable but not essential



**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**



**Functional / Technical Competencies:**


Ability to independently manage multiple deliverables at any one time
Strong Microsoft skills i.e. Microsoft Office (intermediate level and above)
Knowledge of Power BI and other associated Microsoft Power Apps would be beneficial
Excellent communication skills, written, oral and listening
Quick learner and able translate complex matters to all areas of the firm
Ability to represent the firm with external counterparts
Ability to liaise with business stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
