Job Description
Support Engineer – Networking (Hybrid, London)
Full-time · £78,500 – £32,500 + Equity
About the Role
This fast-growing networking company is redefining how enterprise networks are designed, built and supported. As a Support Engineer, you won’t just be “closing tickets” - you’ll be working on some of the most complex and varied network environments in the industry. The role offers the opportunity to dive deep into every layer of the networking stack, tackle challenging problems, and influence product direction.
This is a position for engineers who enjoy variety, thrive in high-complexity environments, and want to build networks that just work.
What Success Looks Like
- Deliver consistently high-quality technical service and earn customer trust.
- Provide actionable product suggestions to engineering teams.
- Strengthen the team through clear documentation, peer training, and shared expertise.
We’ll Know It’s Working If
- You consistently resolve complex tickets while adapting to shifting priorities.
- You suggest and implement improvements that make the team more effective.
- You act like an owner, developing your technical depth and lifting those around you.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full networking stack.
- Manage and support complex enterprise networks, almost entirely remotely.
- Identify and document product bugs with clear reproduction steps.
- Draft structured feature requests based on customer needs.
- Create documentation that improves resolution times for the wider team.
Who You Are
- A “Swiss Army knife” of networking, fluent in wireless, security, WAN/LAN, routing, DNS and related domains.
- Experienced (3-7 years) in network engineering roles, not just "IT support".
- Analytical and resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity and novel challenges.
- Calm under pressure, a clear communicator, and highly collaborative.
Why Join?
Networks are the backbone of modern business, yet most enterprise infrastructure is brittle, complex and expensive. This company has built its own end-to-end stack - hardware, software and operations - to deliver seamless enterprise networking. Backed by top-tier investors, the team is scaling globally and building for the long term.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £78,500 – £132,5 depending on experience
- Competitive equity package
- Hybrid: London office (Tuesday–Thursday) with some flexibility for remote shifts - Fully remote until London office (London location TBC) secured.
